A catch-all email mailbox receives email messages sent to inactive addresses under the very same domain. For instance, an email message sent to the misspelled suport@domain.com will be delivered to support@domain.com in case the catch-all feature has been enabled for the latter. In this way, you can get email messages from partners or clients who may have sent a message to your email address with a spelling mistake or to an outdated one, which they may still have, but you have already deleted. Only one mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for such a mailbox. This is due to the fact that at some point you may start receiving spam email messages in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding limitation means that the spam will not be received in a third-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Website Hosting

You will be able to create a catch-all email mailbox without any difficulty in case you have a cloud website hosting plan with us. The Email Manager tool in our custom-created Hepsia hosting Control Panel is fully featured, yet exceptionally easy to use, and it will permit you to enable various features, including the catch-all one, with just several clicks. All the email addresses that you have set up will be enumerated alphabetically in this section and on the right side of each of them you will see a tiny "Catch-all" logo. Clicking on it once will enable this feature, clicking it for a second time will deactivate it. As you can have only one such mailbox per domain, our system will notify you if you’ve already got a different mailbox with this option enabled or if you’ve got enabled email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

The catch-all functionality can be enabled with ease if you have a semi-dedicated server account with our company. All the email addresses that you have created using the domains hosted in the account will be listed in the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section and you will see a small-size symbol conveniently situated right next to each of them. With just a single click of the mouse, you can enable or disable the catch-all option for any mailbox of your choice on the condition that there isn't another mailbox under the same domain with the option already enabled and there isn't enabled email forwarding. Instead, you can right-click on a mailbox and activate this option using the context menu that will pop up. In case any of the conditions for creating a catch-all mailbox is not answered, our system will inform you, but will not replace or deactivate anything automatically.
